The Garden Suite

A soft, romantic setting - perfect for relaxation after a long day of work or play. A favorite with guests and brides alike. Ascend the tiny wooden stairs onto a fluffy King size pillow top bed. Pair this with plush bedding and a warm down comforter for ultimate comfort. Add tons of comfy pillows and we are sure this room will be the perfect setting to provide a wonderful nights sleep. The original fireplace with a hand carved mantle and tile surround still remain to remind us of the grandeur of a time gone by. Warm cherry furnishings and an antique English writing desk provide lots of storage and a place to work (if you must!) Enjoy a separate sitting/dressing area where you can sit at a small wicker table for just you two enjoying a quiet cup of coffee and morning paper. This suite has an oversized tiled en suite shower with sunflower showerhead.

Emily's Suite

Whimsical, light and airy, this large suite has been completely redecorated. This suite has a new hand carved (low profile) European King size bed. The fireplace (with it's original apple green tile surround) lends itself to curling up on a comfy oversized chair with a good book. There is a lovely antique 'spinet' desk perfect for writing a letter, with plenty of space for your laptop.

The large airy ensuite bath was carefully refurbished to preserve the original vintage 30's tub/shower combination with the original pedestal sink. Aged to perfection with an old world feeling!

The Madelyn

Requested again and again and a favorite with our business travelers, this light and airy French inspired room with warm decorative fireplace and lovely faux walls provides an aged European look. After a busy day, climb into the queen size French iron bed.with it's fluffy down comforter and piles of pillows. The furnishings were chosen carefully to provide a delightful blend of French antiques, with an eclectic mix of other decorative furnishings which provides a warm, cozy haven after a long day of work or play. Original French glass doors open to the new ensuite bath which provides a large pedestal sink, oversized tiled shower with a sunflower showerhead. Pamper yourself - we have added a towel warmer for added pleasure.

Rosemary's Suite & Sleeping Porch

Relax - your ultimate getaway awaits you! This oversized sunny suite with king bed (new photo soon!) provides the business person (and pleasure travelers alike) with room to move. This spacious garden inspired room has windows overlooking the gardens on two sides. The suite is filled with carefully chosen antiques, European paintings and furnishings from the owners travels. Decorated with a light Country French feel in mind. Warm rustic wooden floors, oriental rugs and a down filled antique chaise are sure to delight! An antique desk and chair were found at auction while on a trip down South by the owners. For additional ambiance and comfort, we have added a year round (electric) fireplace to warm you. Ensuite bath with pedastal sink, large tiled shower and sunflower showerhead.

The Sleeping Porch
A private spot, adjacent (but separate) to Rosemary's Suite, this year round sleeping porch is just like Grandma used to have. Children and adults enjoy curling up on this comfortable twin size 'daybed'. Loaded down with comfy pillows, quilts and warm comforters keep you warm and cozy. This room is perfect for the family traveling on college visits, or friends who prefer to share a room.
